The last three years have been interesting to say the least.
I've hung up my spurs and gotten out of the ministry game for the present. I may return some day, I may not, that's all up to the man upstairs. Right now I'm just concentrating on my relationship with Him, trying to take care of my family, and trying to figure out where to go next.
Since May of 2008 I've been working at The University of Texas at Austin as a parking enforcement assistant, making little money and earning no respect from the students, faculty and staff of this prestigious institution. Leaving the ministry in November before the bottom fell out of the Job market was the best and worst thing I've ever done. Spiritually, I've never been healthier, financially...well that's another story altogether.
You however do not read this blog to hear me gripe and moan about my life, so I will endeavor to move forward and trust in the Lord to provide for my physical needs as well as He has my spiritual.
